Micho names 40-man provisional squad for AFCON

Uganda Cranes head coach, Mulitini Sredejovic ‘’Micho’’ on Wednesday, 30 November released a 40-man squad at FUFA house, Mengo ahead of 2017 AFCON Finals due to take place in Gabon.

‘’We have settled to a 40-man squad, five goal keepers, 12 defenders, 15 mid-fielders, and 23 midfielders that will compete for 23 places in Gabon.’’
‘’We selected a blend of experience and youth who are the future of Uganda football. Nobody will be given a permanent place now, tests have to be passed for one to qualify to the stage of the last 23.’’ Micho exclaimed
The 40-man squad is as follows;
