Uganda Christian University (UCU) two weeks ago settled to a 1-all draw with Uganda Martyrs University (UMU). The Nile Special University Football League (NSUFL) match was played at Nkozi and it was the first round of the league quarter finals. The return leg will be played at UCU grounds on Thursday, 13 October 2016 and this gives the Mukono based side a higher advantage to emerge victors.
Last season, UMU beat UCU at the same stage with a 4-1 goal average. Therefore the aspect of revenge from UCU against UMU cannot left out when analysing the forth coming game. This is however the third time UCU is taking part in the fifth edition of the league.
On the other side, Kyambogo University has much work to do when they face Makerere University on Wednesday, 12 October 2016 for the quarter finals return leg at Luzira prisons grounds. Makerere hit Kyambogo 2-0 during the first leg at the same grounds the return is to be played. None of the two is to play on their home ground due to the violent nature of their fans.
Kampala University (K.U) is also to face Busitema University on Thursday, 13 October 2016 at Villa Park. The Ggaba based side (K.U) have an advantage because they had earlier on whipped Busitema 2-1.
In Entebbe, Nkumba University will be taking on Gulu University on Wednesday, 12 October 2016. During the first leg, these two ended in a goal less draw on 30 September 2016. Therefore it is a fresh contest between the two teams.
